Default Someone have an extra tank for cheap?

I need an aquarium really bad... im trying to get something with 50+ gallons.... but anything over 30 is ok......

I am extreamly low on cash so if anyone here is willing to give one up for cheap or free (ha.. free, thats a shot in the dark) Or if you know anywhere that sells tanks for cheap, let me know.

I'm in the Philadelphia PA area.

This time of year try local garage sales. And check quality aquarium stores (no lfs). They usually take in old tanks for people who upgrade and you can usually get larger tanks (55+gallons) for a dollar a gallon.

More then not he probably has a couple 5 gal tanks A hal gal tank would be a migth bit small for any fish but a Betta.

I only have a 10 and a 20 gal right now. Seems people who know me tell people that I love keeping fish, so I end up with a stack of empty tanks on my back patio all the time.

Wonder why its always 10 and 20 gal tanks, why can'y they dump a nine 125 gal tank on me Hehehe.

Check the classifieds in your local paper. I have found a couple good deals in there. There is a 75g tank and stand in the paper now for $100. Good deal IMO and if I had the extra cash, I'd go for it.

I just bought another 55g from someone on craigslist for $175. It includes a nice wooden cabinet/stand, light, two pumps, background, heater, and various other items. Pretty good bargain. Its my second one I've found on craigslist.

OMG! How far do you think bloomington is from louisville, ky? It's to bad I don't have anymore room or I'd be up there in a heartbeat to get that 75g

Yes I mean 2 half a gallon bowls and yes they make them even smaller than that. I think a half a gallon is to small for even a betta. lol
