Default LF> Breeders of small fish willing to ship!

I'm looking for a breeder of Celestial Pearl Danios or other small 1.5" MAX fish, I live in Castle Rock, Co. anyone relatively nearby who breeds these fish, or other small fish no larger than 1.5" please message me or if you are willing to ship these fish, message me as well! I'm making a nano cube planted tank and would like some sort of small schooling fish to reside =] Just another tidbit, I won't be buying for at least 2 months (hard for me to stomach too.)

I believe the former president of the American Livebearers Association lives in Colorado. I know he has Heterandria formosa.

It'd really be awkward to ask someone of that much superiority to sell me some of his fish :O

Haha, that's kind of the point of aquarium clubs, to share what you know about fish, and to trade them. It's not like he's the president of the USA, just the president of a fish club...

Well, once I have my tank, and get it cycled, I'll ask around, as for now, research, research, research. Won't be able to get until the paycheck after the next anyway. Unless a 12 or 24gal nanocube suddenly pops up for under $100 Anyone? Anyone???

Thats the other thing clubs are good for, used local equip. People with multiple tanks are always changing them. And even discounts from LFS. One store here gives AAAA members 20% off, another 10%

I'll try to look around, but I don't think we even have a LFS. We have a Petsmart...we're such a small town Our 2 attractions include a really big rock to hike on, and a movie theater...

lol. Join the club and post what you want. Other fish people can tell you where to find it, but you may need to take a drive.

The thing about livebearers is they breed and breed. He will eventually need to unload some.

Good to know =] As of now I'm in the process of nabbing myself a 24gal nano. So I might just go up to Petsmart and get another 5 Rasboara Het. and merge the schools =]
