Default 60- 20 gallon aquariums

I am cleaning out my fishroom! I have about 60 twenty gallon aquariums that have been drilled that I no longer need. Most are side drilled, but some are back drilled. I have the glass lids for most of them, and I have flourescent lighting for most as well. No for shipping info, I live in Red Bluff California. I will deliver them to you (for the cost of fuel) up to 120 miles away. If you live further than that, you will need to come and pick them up. I can not ship them. As for the cost, I am going to let these go for 10.00 per tank. If you are interested and are will to make the drive, I am willing to sell these 10 tanks at a time. So if you are setting up a small or large fish room, these will be perfect for you.

Dang! I'm setting up my Fishroom. I've decided on 362 sq. ft. I'm in Atlanta, GA though. What a bummer.
So what happened you going larger or just taking a sabbatical.

Are they 20s hi or long? You can ship them, all you have to do is put them on a pallet and take them to a shipper IE CF freight or others

taking a break, and rethinking the set up of the room. plus i am going to concentrate on Angels instead of multiple species... i can ship, if necessary, but prefer not to. Plus if i do ship, the buyer would wave to be responble for breakage. Not sure is anyone would want to take that chance. If anyone is interested, let me know, i'll make you a heck of a deal just to get rid of them!

Shipping wouldnt/souldnt be a problem, u could shipp them freight. Or by UPS. I work at UPS and I see aquariums being shipped all the time. It depends on how u pack them, if they break or not. I would ship them in a box that has at LEAST 5 inches on either side off the tank. fill the tank with crumbled newspaper or packing peanuts.. Then use the packing peanuts around the sides of the tank. Just dont over pack it. that could cause too much pressure if anothe package is placed on top of it. it needs a very slight amount of give room.

Sorry but I think it is funny that everyone always tries to convince people to ship when they state they wont. Most the time it is not because they are worried about them breaking or in the case of fish dying but instead they dont want to spend the extra money on boxes, packing, and shipping. They just want a easy drop off without the hassel.

When we hosted the ACA in 2002 we got all of our tanks shipped on a pallet with plastic wrap around them and only had two tanks get broken out of 300. I is done every day people think because it is glass to automatically gets broken R.

When you get alot of tanks people tend to use a central filtration. This requires holes being drilled in the tanks so pluming can be mounted out the side or bottom of the tanks to one central point shared by all the tanks. This can be solved by just buying plexiglass squares and silicone and placing it over the holes. I did this on 20 tanks I bought that had the same thing done to them.

I'm definitely interested, but I don't live near Cali (I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin). If you would ship them, I would buy at least 3 (but probably more). I'm setting up a fish room in my basement, and I need all the tanks I can get. Email me at:

...if they're still available, please.

fish doc...thanks for helping out

As for shipping 3 tanks to wisconsin, it would definately be cheaper for you to buy new tanks locally than to buy used ones from the other side of the country. if you wanted a bunch, then the savings would make sense. Thank you foe the interest, if you want a bunch of them, please let me know.

again, my e-mail address is matt@atchardwaresystems.com If anyone is interested, please let me know, i still hve all of the tanks.

Thnaks,

Matt
