there's two different kinds there.
1.) The Ngara Flametail peacock-A very beautiful peacock malawian cichlid, can ubelieve that 1m/3f adult sell for $125 in CA?? But here as you know we have GCCA and WCF so there are abundance of cichlids here so prices are much much lower on them. Here's kinda background note on them: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/a_ngara.php And as for the Bicolor 500's there, again same location, another beauty..here's info on them: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/a_maulana.php Peacocks tend to be much less agression versus the mbuna's..that are pretty aggresive. The ones above are in their juvenile stages no coloration quite yet but within 6 mos they will. I do have one male beginning to color up that has not been listed as was just savin on the side for whatever..... Truly most colorful FW fish IMO, have had many clients at my office ask me "aren't those SW fish?" lol cuz of their colors.

20 or so be fine, just keep up on water changes, but when full adults i would upgrade tank a bit...or just have 10 adults then.....these guys are 2-2.5" and can all be kept in a 50g tank.
