Default free male and female boxfish from Hawaii (Ostacion Meleagris)

okay I have recently started shipping fish about 4 months ago from Hawaii to the mainland and have had a successful track record with no DOAs until recently I suffered my first DOA....(a female whitley's boxfish) there are so many factors that need to be considered when shipping fish such as bag size, enduring temp conditions etc....this loss caught me off guard and bothered me for days...I spoke to one of my marine fish wholesaler friends (he has 20 years experience shipping fish) Well he said that I needed to shake the boxfish to get her to release her toxin before placing her in the shipping bag....to ensure that she doesnt get stressed and toxicate herself in the bag....hmmmm well I can look at the situation two ways....1) dont ship boxfishes again or 2) get the technique down so that I will not have another boxfish die on me....so I decided to choose #2 I went diving and caught a male blue box and a female black box both about 3" and want to offer someone these fish at no charge for the fish....(all I ask is that actual shipping cost be paid around $35 via Fed Ex) I will fax or mail the actual shipping receipt to show actual charges if requested. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ME FOR THE SHIPPING IF THE FISH DOES NOT ARRIVE ALIVE AND YOU WILL BE GETTING THE FISH FOR FREE SO NO DOA POLICY OKAY. Please be honest though if and when you receive the fish in good health please immediately refund me for the shipping cost portion only......I need your feedback on the conditions the fish arrive in.....so that I can become proficient at shipping livestock throughout the US(even boxfish) it's gonna take practice to have a live arrival everytime....and my website and aqautic store will be opening up in aproximately two months so I need your help.....If you are interested please PM me and I will get back to whoever is interested in the order I receive them....I only have one boxfish pair for now....and it doesnt cost me anything to catch them myself.....but if I am going to give away fish for free I think it's only fair that you pay for the shipping...okie dokie!!! Aloha....

You do know that boxfish are saltwater? And that they are a fairly hard fish to keep that require the experience of an advanced saltwater fish keeper? And that when stressed or dieing they omit a nasty toxin from their skin that can wipe out an entire tank? And that they need a pretty large, well-established tank? And that saltwater tanks are expensive due to necessary extra equipment such as a protein skimmer, live sand, and live rock?

Judging from your sig, you don't sound like you're ready to keep a pair of boxfish. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Haha, this coming from the kid who is having trouble taking care of his CAE. Reconsider.
