What we do?
- We bring in premium quality Bettas from some of the best and champion breeders in Thailand. All fish are in the US and can be shipped within 3 business days.
- We pick the fish ourselves and usually have them in matching pairs.
- Especially, we offer top graded Giant Bettas!!
- We can also take requests and try to find the Betta for you.
Why we do it?
One day I was looking for a Giant Betta and just couldn't seem to find one anywhere. Finding a nice Giant is already hard enough, trying to find a matching pair for breeding seems like a very tall order. Our purpose is to give Betta lovers in the US better access to quality, healthy Bettas and the best of its kind, the Giant Betta. Besides, dealing with breeders and transhippers can be very frustrating. If you only buy 1 or 2 fish, just getting them to communicate could be a daunting task. Sometimes, it could take up to a month to get your fish. All our fish are already in the US and can be shipped within 3 business days so we can get them to you faster.

To put it in perspectives, this is a couple of fish from a popular breeder on Aquabid similar to what we're having. Keep in mind, when you order from a breeder overseas, you'll have to pay $5-$7 for shipping and $2 handling fee for the transhipper.

The aquabid links. Try some betta forums. You'll get more takers. There aren't a lot of betta breeders on this forum, and I think betta breeders would be more likely to buy.

Shipping is going to be $35. We only do express to make sure the fish arrive safely.

personally i think that somebody with little or no knowledge of bettas would insist on shipping them express...or they are making extra money off of the shipping....i can ship 8 bettas anyplace in the country for just over $10.00...(USPS Priority medium flat rate box)...i have seen bettas shipped from asia to cleveland ohio in small bags with only a couple of tablespoons of water..hundreds in a box....very few losses..but that was 40 years ago....today you can use kordon breather bags with maybe 2 ozs. of water...
properly packed they can last several weeks like that...so 2 or 3 days with priority mail should be a snap...

Way out of my price range. You may want to get a pair and spawn them instead of losing customers because of high prices. They're nice and all, but not too high quality.

Depending on the personality of the fish, in some cases, Bettas can bite tail during transition, be very aggressive and attack females and other fish, or won't eat or flare.
If you're not familiar with Bettas, Bettas are also known as the fighting fish, so it's not advised to keep them together. It doesn't mean they have to live alone in small cups either. Please keep this in mind and be prepared before you order.

Please note....it may seem that i am being mean here ; but i think it only proper that the members of this site deserve as much honest information as possible...in this day and age of internet scams ; one never knows who is trying to make off with their money..
i would never buy fish from somebody that tells me that they are going to sell me one kind of fish but only guarantee that i would get a fish.....some somebody winds up paying $75 to over $100 for a couple of feeder guppies...

Not to be mean, but post it on aquabid, sell a few fish, and get some feedback. I have read multiple times that if you want good fish, then you have to buy from reputable sellers. Try getting a reputation and then come back.

Wow. I wouldn't say I'm an expert on Bettas but I'm sure spent a lot of time learning about them. Of course I can ship priority too but with our box size 8x8x8 it wouldn't be $10 but would be around $15. I can also ship 8 fish in one box. I ship from the east coast. You can feel free to go to usps website to see the rate of express shipping to California and see if I make any money off on shipping.
Few losses means there are losses. We're trying to avoid any kind of losses. I've seen hundreds of Bettas shipped to Petco or Petsmart in tiny bags and have seen some had died long enough to the point their bodies were decomposing. Plus, in my recent shipment one of my giant females died because there was very little air in the bag and I kept saying "what a waste of a fish. She was so nice. If I could've got her a little bit earlier." It took 5 days for that shipment to go from Thailand through my transhipper to me.
The only reason I have not sold on Aquabid is because we've just started. I've tried really hard to convince breeders to let me pick from their best stock. Of course Aquabid is the first thing that came to my mind but I wouldn't want to let my breeders feel I'm competing with them, thus stop supplying us.
I'm a verified Paypal user with address and credit card info. I've been buying and in negotiation with several breeders. If you're still doubtful, contact me personally for breeders' info then you can verify with them.
Before you actually know something, stop going around spreading accusations about other people.
Btw, for someone who claims to know fish, saying a fish can last in a bag for several weeks really proved your point.

How did you read that came up with feeder guppies I would never know? You need to work on reading and comprehending. A Betta is sold AS IS and somehow it could turn out to be a feeder guppy. Posting on Aquabid would make it legit since Aquabid actually involves in a dispute and insures the victim rather than just warns and suspends the offenders? And one is not capable of creating another account to repeat their scams? Sorry, I just have to reply twice because it just bugs me when someone accuses me after I just had a very long day.

check with the reports on the breather bags from kordon corp...they did the testing...30 days in a bag and still alive...
and i have also seen where a couple of people on aquabid had fish lost for 2 weeks and more and the fish were still alive...
but that is a rare event...i ship all over the world...(albeit only to 6 countries)..us..canada..england..germany..india and belize....
i live in cleveland ohio..i can get a priority box from here to california within 3 days..if i ship on saturday ; it gets there on monday....and i don't care how you cut it..a medium flat rate box will hold quite a few bettas if you are using breather bags...and it still only costs a little over 10 bucks..

also....have you informed all of your potential customers that their $35.00 express costs do not guarantee next day delivery ? and that it may take more than 3 days to deliver ?

i am by any means any kind of expert on anything...but i have been doing this for almost 40 years.....i may have been born at night...but just not last night...
just some college kids trying to make some money...
with very little effort one can reach more than 1,000,000 potential customers...if only 10% of them send $100 for a pair of fish you have $1,000,000 in your pocket to skip town with...i am not actually saying that you guys intend to do that....but it is entirely possible..

why do you not state that you guarantee that the buyer will get the exact fish from the photograph that they picked..to me that "fish being a fish" is a huge red flag...that should be an issue for any buyer...

i still think you should sell on aquabid....you will find a lot more potential customers there...the majority of folks here are children...they don't have paypal or checking accounts..

sorry guys ; but i just see too many red flags....

Kordon sells those bags so their reports to me are just like Petco saying it is where healthy pets live. Besides, do they say what kind of fish and if they all survived after 30 day tests?
I doubt that.
I don't care where and how you ship. We don't use flat rate but 8x8x8 boxes and that's how we ship. He didn't tell us an exact zip code so that was an estimate but I already said you're welcome to double check. It's around that price. Ohio is not quite on the east coast isn't it. And priority flat rate and express 8x8x8 are not quite the same aren't they. I don't know why you keep comparing how you ship and how we do. They are clearly not the same. I've told how I ship where I ship from. I've asked my post office multiple times and they assured express overnight would come the next day. As far as I know there's nothing else I need to inform people.
I capitalize AS IS again as it already means you'll get it as it is, and I quote "it is used to disclaim some implied warranties." In this case I explained we were not responsible for anything else other the fish being a fish and gave more info about Bettas' behaviors. All that means no implied guarantees that the fish will breed, flare, etc. That's more informative and descriptive than most video ads on Youtube already. I don't see how I could make it clearer than that.
If it was as easy as "little effort" like you said to reach that many customers and to get that many of them to pay, everyone would've made millions and we'd hear those cases on the news everyday now wouldn't we. I feel like I've been spending more than a "little effort" and got about 300 hits on Youtube and no buyer. Maybe you should teach me.
