I am looking to rehome 2 red hook silver dollars. They are very pretty and docile, but I cannot keep a plant alive in my tank to save my life. Asking $35 for both OBRO.
If you cant find someone to re-home them to call Markheim pets on sheridan drive and tell them that you are looking to get rid of them. use the excuse that they out grew your tank (tell them you have too small of a tank) you will not get want you are asking but they should be fair, typically they will give you half what they would be able to sell them for.
They just took an 8" Black Shark off my hands that i had in my 30gal, it was only half grown. they gave me $8.00 store credit which i thought was fair considering i probably only paid 3 or 4 bucks when i first bought it 5 years ago.
Typically i use Markheim or The Fish Place on Robinson road in North Tonawanda. they are the only two of the many stores in the area with tanks big enough to house some bigger stock.
Actually I know the people at markheim very well. Have been going to them for years for fish, reptiles, etc. I Just dropped off the bamboo shark that they have sometime last week or the week before. I just wanted to maybe find someone locally that like fish as much as I do and was interested in picking up a couple of sweet fish.
Thank you though.
Much appreciated.
That's cool.. i just thought i would give you another option. i like Markheim i go there frequently. May favorite store is The Fish Place in NT.
Also i was wondering if you knew anything about Seneca Pet @ Seneca st. & Casenovia park south buffalo. i went over there yesterday and the place was boarded up. i haven't been there in a long time & wasn't aware they had closed.
