Default Ammonia for cycling!

Anyone need "pure" ammonia to cycle their tank? My dad owns a chemical packaging plant, where they do mostly ammonia. He gets it before anyone can put soaps, scents and junk in it. It is 5% ammonium hydroxide.

Whats a fair price for a quart or gallon?

By saying pure ammonia, I mean that it dosen't have soaps or scents in it. It is only %5 ammonia, the rest is water.

Then it is NOT pure ammonia and at that matter pure ammonia is a gas and not liquid the most percent is 29.9% with no water. I use it for every tank I have setup and you have to find the ratio to add to the water!. most is 5 drops per gallon. R.

OK, there are two meanings of pure ammonia. In the aquarium hobby, pure ammonia is without soaps or other junk harmful to fish. My dad thinks of pure ammonia as 100% ammonia, no water. I told him that I needed pure ammonia, he said that its impossible, because it is a gas. I told him that I had to look into it more. I found out that when people were saying "pure" they meant the first meaning of it, so tahts what I am using here. My dad gets 29.9% aqua ammonia (diluted anhydrous ammonia) in totes, and ahydrous ammonia in steel cyclenders.

Hmm, i did not know ammonia was a gas "pure" thanx for the input, must have a difficult process for it to attach to the water molecules.
