I have both of Dr. Herbert Axelrod's "bibles" for sale cheap.
"Mini Atlas of Freshwater Aquarium Fishes Mini Edition" and Handbook of Tropical Aquarium Fishes" Both are the hardbound editions in good shape. I don't have the time anymore for fish, so I'd like to have this books find a good home. I'm thinking $20 plus shipping is a fair price. If interested, you can email me and I can send pictures etc. Thanks! |

Got them, plus you are asking too much for them. Who the hell are you anyway?

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families: Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers. |

You know, Cichlid Man, one thing I like about you is that you are always so tactful and polite.
Good question though. |

make me an offer then.
As stated in my OP I have the books and don't need them any more, figured the best fish site on the web would be the place to offer them to some one who can use them. I'd rather get a couple bucks and get them to someone who can use them rather than use them as landfill (garbage) I posted my email and offered pics, whadda ya want? |

I think you might be asking too much for them because they are used. Also shipping could cost quite a bit. For me it could be up to 10 dollars shippping. So that would be like paying 15 dollars each book. Which is almost the price they would cost when new.

Stick em on Ebay or something to get a realistic offer.

Oh, bruddah... things like this are gonna keep people from trying to offer anything for sale around here, and that's our loss, since sometimes people have some good stuff.

Wasn't it someones idea that a member had to post about ten times around the forum before being able to sell something though?
