What are the brown stripped guys in the back and right?

I've got some A. Rubescense, A Baenschi, C. Boryeli, electric yellow, and albino zebra fry as well as 2 3-4" male C Boryeli to thin out of my group (can't really call it a colony with 1 female and 4 males ) and a Juvi male Boryeli (2")from the group I'm trying to grow out to get some females
if your interested in any of those. I've got a huge colony of 6 liners (mst probably Brundi) fronts so I dont think the 7 liners would mix well but always looking to hook up with "close by" cichlid fans.

OH YEA almost forgot ... I'm in Wichita Falls

see ya later
John

Those are Gold head Comps in the back ground.

The Borelli's interest me but since I only keep Africans cichlids and my PH is very high (8.4), I don't think your fish would survive in my tanks.

In the past I had Burundi, Mpimbwe and Zaire all together and they did alright together. But I was not
trying to get them to breed at all then. Now I only keep the Kigoma and comps and have 4 Buffalo heads.

I have 15 of my Front fry left now.

When did you pick up the gold heads? How are the fish I brought up to you? Your Fronts are still doing well in my tank, getting a much bigger tank for them soon. Take care, Kyle

I picked those up from Armkes the first time I went there in September.
The ones you brought me are doing great. They are in the 55 gallon tank with the Front fry.

Looks like I will be getting rid of most of the FH this week and trading them for more Comps and Calv.
NDA has a few so I hope to take what they have lef with the trade.

Good to hear your fish are doing well also.
I gave a few people your email for Holey rock. Did any of them contact you?

the C. Boryeli are african cichlids ... I have my PH about 8.6ish ... drops to about 8.2 at the lowest but that lets me know it's time for a water change

here's a pic of my male ... and a few other of my fish :

during spwaning they get a smidge aggressive as ALL cichlids will, But outside of that they are relatively mild, If the male is the dominant fish in the tank he might be a tad bit more aggressive than usual but nothing like any of the zebras or more aggressive guys. They mix well with my fronts and yellow labs. I also have a male & female venustus in the tank and haven't had any problems .... yet The male just started getting his ... uuummm testosterone ... about 2 months ago so the jury is still out on that one.

I'm coming to DFW the end of April (23rd) to fly to SC for my brothers wedding and I'll be returning the 7th of may so I could bring them with on the way down but you'd have to be pretty prompt at the airport to get them because I'm having to park in the "longterm parking" and leave the truck there while I'm gone and get to the terminal and all that jazz

Ok, send me a IM with your contact info and we can make plans.
I have another batch of fry in the grow tank as well so I don't think I will ever be low on Front fry.

I'd love to be breeding Fronts again. Unfourtunatly I'm only going to be here a limited time (2 more years max) so I can't even get set up to get a good colony going in that time.

I'll have a ton of nice fish to liquidate when the time comes though
