Default Freedom!

Guess who got their braces off!
And for anyone who has had braces before, I'm sure you know why I'm shouting from the rooftops. 25 MONTHS! Geesh!

A special thanks to everyone who thought I was still cute while I had railroad tracks on my face.

Now I can return to modeling!

YAY!!!

How long did you have them for?

I had mine for about 3 years. but then I didn't wear my retainer, so I had to get them back on on my bottom teeth. When those came off, I just got a wire cemented in on the back to hold them so I didn't have to wear a retainer...lol

I had them for three years and then wore the retainer once.

My teeth are still 90% straight and I'm not going to do anything about it. It really is as bad an experience as people say.

They really weren't THAT bothersome. I had a great orthodontist, so it was pretty painless (except for when they were put on!)
I had them on 25 months and got top and bottom retainers today. My sister had the wire that you're talking about, Andrew. Never bothered her (she never wore her retainer :P )

Good to know others know the same feeling!

I don't remember the installation being all that painful. I had a great orthodontist too (if you're in Westchester County, NY, PM me and I can refer him - he doesn't take people off the streets like most New York City doctors). What I remember hating - HATING - were the rubber bands. I also didn't like the horizontal spacers. They were kinda painful.

Overall I'm glad that my parents made me go through it and I appreciate that they invested the money in it. Crooked teeth is the last thing I need to add to my appearance.

Hah. I had braces for 2 years. Then I didn't wear my retainer, so my teeth are a little messed up again. I don't really care, haha. You look great though. Remember to wear the retainer!

I think I'm gonna carry your picture around with me in my wallet and tell people you're my girlfriend. That should work until you get famous, which I'm sure won't take very long, and then I'll have to tell people you dumped me when the fame went to your head.
LOL

Ya know, they did feel a little bit weird, but not as bad as weird as everyone said they would.

BTW:

my joints are really hurting due to the lack of arthritis medication's donation

and

is also approaching rapidly due to old age in general.

My brother and sister had them for five or six years, and they were told they would only have them for one or two. I never had to get them yay!

My teeth have never been straight, bad genetics, got em from my dad. None of my docs ever suggested it until after I turned 18, and at that point I was like, say what? Your nuts, my teeth have been like this for years and now you figure out that you want to put them on? I lost my last tooth at a young age, had my wisdom teeth pulled early, so idk what their problem was.

edit:

If your offering signed pics I'll take one.. i just hope the GF doesn't find it :P
