Yeah, Iam aware that there is LOTS of Catfish, and I dont even know about them all lol
But I got a 10 gallon tank.
and as for the Catfish, well thats why I asked here, cause I dont know what wone would be the best one to mix with my fish and snail.

and I only want one for now, cause i dont want my 10 gallon being over populated, iam eventually gonna get myself a new and bigger tank.

Corys are some of the smallest catfis around.Depending on species the can range from 1.5" up to 4" or so. They do prefer to stay in groups of at least 3 though.Check out planetcatfish.com. Goto the Cat-eLog section, then genus thumbnails. On the left you will see family names.Scroll down to CALLICHTHYIDAE and you should see corydoras spp. click on that and it will give you thumbnails of all the cory cats. Many will be available at your lps/lfs.

brochis (big corydoras type) http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/brochis/114_f.php
otocinclus for algae eating
bristlenose " " "
flagtail porthole DIANEMA UROSTRIATA http://www.fish2u.com/flagporcat1.html
regular porthole dianema.... http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/dianema/280_f.php

None of these are aggressive, don't get really big (some are 3-4 inches), don't tend to bother fish

A friend of mine was a big catfish lover - all his tanks (and he had several) had bunches of catfish in them. No other fish, just catfish. The living room had a 55 gallon with a bunch of different plecos and things. It was cool, in a sort of weird way  He fed them lots of zucchini and romaine lettuce and other stuff.

Corydoras are really sweet. And funny! as they swim around searching the bottom for food. I have in one tank 6 albino corydoras and in another tank 10 corydoras sterbai. They are simply gorgeous! And they best show their true behaviour in groups of at least 4-6 individuals.

Also your tetras are schooling fish and would certainly like the company of at least 6-8 individuals of each species. Then you have good chances to see some spawning behaviour and better colors! :D
