Hi Everyone,

I have 2 Angelfish in 24,5 gallon freshwater tank. I discovered more then years ago that one of Angelfish mouth is still red and "fin border" too.
It seems like dactylogyrus or gyrodactylus symptom but i checked with 20X stereo microscope and cannot found gill flukes or any flukes, parasites.

I used more times malachite green, JBL Gyrodol, JBL Spirohexol but red mouth symptom is still.

The affected Angelfish is swimming, moving, eating normally.

Could anybody help me how to medicate this symptom?

Thank you in advance.

it could be that the affected fish is being picked on by the other.

Thank you response.
Affected Angelfish was stand alone up to half year and any medication was not worked and was same red mouth symptom.
Aquarium water condition was perfect anytime. NH3, NO2, NO3 are under limit.
I observed a little hierarchy but red mouth not changed and cannot found skin or other damage.
I will check with stereo microscope once again skin and gills to confirmation.

maybe it is from two of them getting ready to mate or fighting for territory or dominance.
