i recently added a hermit crab to my 55 gallon fish only tank, and in no less than 10 seconds, my rock beauty angelfish swam up next to and just started to "swim" really fast in place, and the hermit started to put is legs on the side of the angel. (to me it seemed as if it thought it was a cleaner shrimp or something.) so i put the hermit in a plastic breeder container that is currently floating in the water. any suggestions as to what it might be doing? please help!

Angelfish generally do that when they feel threatened or are "sizing up" an intruder... I would probably say that after a few minutes of doing that he'll get bored and stop... It also could be possible that he wanted to get cleaned but generally they don't "swim really fast in place" when they want to... I would add the hermit crab again and see what he does.
