Gourami Schooling

I just went to petco and bought 4 opaline gouramis and 1 albino RAINBOW shark

I am planning on adding some more gouramis in about a week or 2. I was wondering if the gouramis only school with its only color(i.e blue only with blue or gold only with gold) and i was wondering if they will school with Paradise Fish if i only bought 2... a site recomended 4 paradise fishes.

help plz :?:

Uhhhh I know Gouramis pair up (I'm not sure if they school @.@)

Gouramis wont "school", but they might hang out together. And only with one kind. You can onlt get more opaline gouramis at this point or they will definately fight.

paradise fish dont school. No way! they are more aggressive than bettas. Dont even think of it again! lol

ooo yeah i checked on mine this morning and they are all apart except for 2 that are together.
And are u saying that i can't get any other gouramis with these (i.e Gold (the best looking one imo)) or a pradise fish either?

If you have one type of Gourami, you need to stick with that type and get a couple more. You cannot have a paradise fish either. TO spread out aggression you should get a little more of the kind you already have.
